Cisco Locates Its Sales Company in Tianfu Software Park, to Build Smart+Connected City with Chengdu

Chengdu China, On May 20, 2010, Cisco ,the world’s leading network solutions provider formally signed two MOU with Chengdu, to establish Tianfu Smart+Connected City project and increase collaboration with local educational institutions.. The newly established Cisco sales company will locate at Chengdu Tianfu Software Park, the biggest software park in China, this location will be the center of Localization operation of Cisco China.

Mr. Owen Chan said, Chengdu, as the center of business, finance, science and technology, and a hub of transportation and communication in Southwest China, has abundant talent pool, that is the strongest “impetus” Cisco determined to settle down in Chengdu 1 year ago.

Chengdu, one of the 11 national software bases in China, and also one of the fastest growing Software outsourcing cities in China, currently has up to 1.65 million technicians, and 130 000 software practitioners according to the a report released by Chengdu Tianfu Software Park Co., Ltd, the operator of Tianfu Software Park.
